Driving traffic to your website is a popular topic for businesses.

You have a lot of options. Here are a handful of options. You can start small and grow each as you see fit. Start with one, just like you did with any social media marketing, and grow it from where you are.

  • Providing freebies that you offer on social media can drive a lot of traffic to your website if you find a freebie people really like and want. Like this freebie, I offer about Easy Ways to Repurpose Your Marketing Content so you can do less but have more!
  • Sharing blog articles on social media that people want to read. Like this one about How To Use LinkedIn Effectively For Business.
  • Listing your website in all your bios and email signatures can help increase traffic to your website.
  • Email marketing with reference to your website including links.
  • Advertising
  • Referrals
  • Good search results for your site when someone goes looking in their search engine. (SEO and consistency with your website or blog content). I know a number of clients this has worked for… overtime. You can definitely show up in a Google search with consistent content creation.

Analytics

Track your results. Start a simple spreadsheet and keep track of some of the numbers you get from your efforts.

Review those numbers each month and see what needs to happen? Is it working? Do you need to maybe give it more time? 6 months is probably the minimum for every new venture. Or. 6 times. Or 6 weeks.

Give it a number and meet that number. Don’t give up too quickly.

Marketing Plan

Now that you have tried things and evaluated them you can plan around them more. You started with a simple plan, now you can tighten it or expand on it. Hone it for the next 6 months and evaluate everything again.

What Is Working For You?
