Toby: A Game-Changer for Organizing Your Projects and Tasks

I find my browser windows have a million tabs open… all the time! And, then I have like 10 windows like that! There are so many things I collect to read later but it creates an endless slog of open tabs. Seriously drives me crazy.

And sometimes I don’t even get to them. Or I really just want them as reference.

I’m guessing you’re the same way? I mean how do you just click that little x if you haven’t read the article or what if you want to look it over again later?

In comes Toby. It’s a fantastic and free way to organize all your browser tabs. Chrome allows for a Toby extension, so I use it in this browser. And, from what I have read it’s only available for this browser. Maybe there is something for other platforms?

Toby is a simple way to organize your tabs, ideas, plans, and reading material all in one simple place. 👍 Whoo hoo!

It seriously changed my work life.

Here is Toby. I recommend signing up first and then installing the extension to make the process sync easily. I did it the other way and it was a little glitchy with the setup process and it just kept circling with email confirmation. Know what I mean?

I Still Need Time To Organize

I still have a mess of open tabs. So, I take time like once a month or week, and organize the info I have accumulated.

Which is fine, then I take a minute to organize I also read some stuff and delete it or I find a bunch of tabs that I don’t really need open and close them.

It has been really helpful in my job and in my day.

How I Really Use Toby To Run My Business

1. Organizing your tabs will make accessing projects way easier and faster. Put tabs for each project in one collection. When you are ready to work on that project you can pick the tabs you want to open or open them all at once.
2. Putting your business files that come up in a tab — like Google Docs and Sheets can also be tucked into certain collections so you don’t even need to find your file. They are just right in a collection labeled with your business topics like email marketing, blogging, and social media marketing. It really makes access to the right platforms or files fast.
3. My client work is organized the same way and then boom, I just select the collection and pick certain tabs to open or open them all. So easy!
